The Yale Hotel (SL)

The SL version of The Yale Hotel was built as a momento of a world reknown blues bar in Vancouver BC Canada.

What we do:

  1. Stream live gigs into Second Life from a real life venue.

  2. Upload a webcam stream of the real life venue  to a website.

  3. Project Second Life onto the big screen in the real life venue.

Why we do it:

The sole purpose of this idea is to bring British Columbia music to the world.    A great time is had by audiences in both worlds.  They interact and observe each other, while enjoying some great  live music!

The Yale Hotel (RL)

The real life Yale Hotel was built in 1884 and sits proudly on the corner of Granville and Drake in Vancouver BC Canada.  For years, it was the only blues bar in Vancouver and it's stage boasted many wonderfully talented local musicians as well as numerous famous artists from around the globe.   The most recent owners, the Luciak family from Vancouver, closed the doors in 2011 for some much needed upgrades and renovations.  At the time of posting this information, The Yale Hotel upgrades have been completed and it is on the real estate market in Vancouver..... the future yet untold.  You can find out much about this magestic beauty on the web, with the help of Google I located tons of information.  The documentary, " Bleeding Blue Walls" is very well put together and enjoyable to watch.
